Ghent Dialect Revival: Politicians and Experts Join Forces

City politicians in Ghent are pushing to revive the Ghent dialect through new cultural initiatives. Alderman Astrid De Bruycker and heritage alderman Frederik Sioen are backing projects that include school programs, theatre performances, and cultural events to preserve and promote the city’s historic accent.
